Losec tablets are formulated to provide long-lasting relief from the uncomfortable sensations of heartburn and acid reflux. Losec Omeprazole tablets work different from tradition method of heartburn relief such as antacids. Instead of merely treating the symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux, Losec addresses the root cause of the condition. How Losec Omeprazole tablet work is through proton pump inhibitors (OOI). These switch off some of the acid-producing pumps in our stomachs.  With lesser stomach acid produced, the likelihood of this acid rising into the oesophagus greatly diminishes. Losec also utilises a Multi-Unit Pellet System. This allows Losec tablets to be absorbed much more quickly, providing fast relief from heartburn.
