Tē Whare Mīharo Ora Trust is a neurodiversity-affirming charitable organisation based in Motueka, New Zealand, dedicated to supporting autistic and neurodivergent children, young people, and their whānau through safe, inclusive, and sensory-considerate community services.
We provide OSCAR-compliant after-school care and holiday programmes designed specifically for neurodivergent tamariki aged 5–16, creating structured environments where children can feel understood, supported, and empowered to thrive in ways that honour their individual needs and strengths.
Alongside our programmes, Mīharo Ora offers free family guidance, practical advice, community resources, referral support, and educational information to help whānau navigate neurodiversity with confidence and connection. Our kaupapa is grounded in lived experience, compassion, inclusion, and the belief that every child deserves to be seen, respected, and supported as they are.
Through specialised programmes, family-centred support, community collaboration, and neurodiversity education, Tē Whare Mīharo Ora works to strengthen wellbeing, belonging, confidence, and positive outcomes for neurodivergent children and families across Motueka, Tasman, and the wider New Zealand community.
