Roof Craft Dunedin has been replacing Dunedin roofs since 2013. A lot of the city's housing stock was built decades ago, and those roofs are now at the end of their life: rust creeping along the laps of old iron, concrete tiles going porous and cracking, flashings that leak every time a southerly hits. Our reroofs use COLORSTEEL long-run steel, chosen to suit the site. Homes close to breaking surf at Karitane, Waikouaiti or out on the Peninsula need a different grade from a sheltered hill suburb, and we check the site before ordering rather than after. Profiles are corrugate or 5-rib depending on the pitch and the look of the house, and there are 24 colours to choose from.
